Burgess Rawson WA Facilitates Propel Funeral Partners’ Acquisition of Land in Maylands

Burgess Rawson WA is excited to share that Propel Funeral Partners, an ASX-listed funeral home provider, has successfully acquired nine lots located at 290 to 304 Whatley Crescent, Maylands, for $7.01 million. This significant transaction was recently featured in Business News, highlighting the increasing activity in the commercial property market.

The purchased site spans 5,155 square metres and is strategically positioned for future development, with two of the nine lots currently leased to Christian Funerals. The remaining lots offer excellent potential, given their prime location and accessibility to the CBD. According to our broker Luke Randazzo, the sale reflects a strong rate of $1,375/sqm, indicative of the site’s additional scale and scope for future opportunities.

This acquisition marks a notable investment for Propel Funeral Partners, which operates funeral homes, cemeteries, and crematoria across several states and territories in Australia and New Zealand. Our team at Burgess Rawson is proud to have facilitated this deal, with a special acknowledgment to our brokers, Luke Randazzo and Ben Flanagan, for their dedication and expertise.
